Another day passed, and since I've been at work all day - have accomplished nothing toward the TAST challenge. Hopefully, when we get settled down in California next week, I'll be able to go huckledy-buck for a week or so, and kind of get up to speed!
One of the reasons for my not accomplishing anything stitch-wise, is because I have spent some of my spare time (?) reading more of the posts on anysoldier.com . It truly does make one appreciate everything we have access to, and admire even more those men and women willing to sacrifice and risk all for their country. They sure are my heroes! Wish I had pots of money, so I could send things to all of them overseas and anywhere they are in harm's way.
I've got lots of preparations to do before we leave next week, but tomorrow, I'm taking the time to have a 'Mom and girls' lunch out! Will miss my girls while I'm gone, and at least I'll have had a little time with them before I go. Never know when the last marble is coming up, you know!
I'm stitching on a RR block for someone else right now. Also have to get a couple of blocks made for a RR that begins on the 15th, and finish getting some things together to send to my SWAP partner in Israel. It'll be fun to see what she sends from her country! I love the Internet!!

Today is Tuesday the 2nd of January - the start of the Take-A-Stitch challenge. I don't seem to be catching up with the things I'm supposed to be caught up with, so am probably going to start this challenge behind the 8 ball - as usual. Anyway, will definitely participate in this as much as possible, as I find all Sharon's stitching fascinating. Even though I will be participating - I probably won't be able to post any pictures until after we are back home in Late Feb - early March. Should have quite a few to post by then. Looking forward to all I can learn in this challenge.
Off to work for a few hours today - more later!
