I'm getting better - it hasn't even been a month since the last time I posted! Maybe one of these days, I'll get in the habit and post on a regular basis. I do have to learn a lot about this blogging though.... I want to learn how to post pictures, and make my blog pretty!
Today I'll be doing one of my most hated chores - paperwork!! Have paperwork to catch up with which ma take a few days, but then it'll be done for another while. For someone who was a bookkeeper for so many years, it's hard to believe how much I dislike paperwork of any kind.
Enough for now.......

I'm still on the right side of the grass!
Never remember to write anything! While I'm in the middle of something I think "Oh, I must write a little on my blog", and then i forget all about it again! Too many things going on!!
I've decided I'm going to enter the MIWW contest this year - just as a lark! It'll be fun to do my very best work for a change instead of slamming something together just so I can wear it! I've decided to do a Claire Shaeffer dress, and possibly a jacket and skirt as a 3-pc. ensemble. Will depend on how long the dress takes me. I have some wonderful wool crepe, and just ordered and received some silk organza to underline it with. Still have to buy some lining for it. Also have a wonderful wool tweed and a matching solid wool that will all blend with the crepe, so could very well do the 3 pcs. Will post pics of the wool when I figure out how to post pictures here.
Also am still doing CQ round robins - have 2 different ones going on at the moment. Will have to fit them in around working on the garments.
Enough for this time.... more later!

Finally here again!
Have too many irons in the fire! I knew I'd started a blog, but couldn't remember where!! LOL That's pretty bad!
Will post some pictures of work I've done in the past few months - not a whole lot of pictures. I get busy and forget to take them.
I have not kept up with Sharon's TAST, and since I was gone for the first few months, didn't have any way to post any pictures. So now I'm going to be trying to catch up somewhat, and will try to post a few pics.
Enough for today.

Another day - another dollar!
Another day passed, and since I've been at work all day - have accomplished nothing toward the TAST challenge. Hopefully, when we get settled down in California next week, I'll be able to go huckledy-buck for a week or so, and kind of get up to speed!
One of the reasons for my not accomplishing anything stitch-wise, is because I have spent some of my spare time (?) reading more of the posts on anysoldier.com . It truly does make one appreciate everything we have access to, and admire even more those men and women willing to sacrifice and risk all for their country. They sure are my heroes! Wish I had pots of money, so I could send things to all of them overseas and anywhere they are in harm's way.
I've got lots of preparations to do before we leave next week, but tomorrow, I'm taking the time to have a 'Mom and girls' lunch out! Will miss my girls while I'm gone, and at least I'll have had a little time with them before I go. Never know when the last marble is coming up, you know!
I'm stitching on a RR block for someone else right now. Also have to get a couple of blocks made for a RR that begins on the 15th, and finish getting some things together to send to my SWAP partner in Israel. It'll be fun to see what she sends from her country! I love the Internet!!

Today is Tuesday the 2nd of January - the start of the Take-A-Stitch challenge. I don't seem to be catching up with the things I'm supposed to be caught up with, so am probably going to start this challenge behind the 8 ball - as usual. Anyway, will definitely participate in this as much as possible, as I find all Sharon's stitching fascinating. Even though I will be participating - I probably won't be able to post any pictures until after we are back home in Late Feb - early March. Should have quite a few to post by then. Looking forward to all I can learn in this challenge.
Off to work for a few hours today - more later!

Well, here I go - off on another tangent! There are just too many interesting things to see and do in this lifetime! Think I'll have to be long-lived, and probably go around again to see and do half the things I find of interest in this world. Sometimes I envy people who don't have many interests because they are so focussed - wish I were a bit more like that! Oh, well, I guess I'll just keep on keepin' on with what I do (and don't do!).
